On a serious note, Pump failure and lack of replacements is a little worrying. Even the Plaides ones that used to be available appeared to have wide ranging reliability / quality issues. Bob had to fit 3 or 4 before he got a good one.

I have a spare petrol pump if anyone needs it, condition is unknown, was told it worked last time.

Likewise I have two spares, again unknown condition so I don't know what use they are. There is a DIY reconditioning guide here but it does look quite intimidating.
