So who's going to line their pockets with an extra grand now on the reasonable £995 they initially asked for ?
Here's the LINK to the new listing, I notice they removed the photos shot of the front with the price in the window (So they can't state they've made an error in the initial ad/listing) !
Perhaps they've been on here as a guest and seen the other recent BX sales and had an
But that would only have cost £14, surely it wouldn't have cost £986 for labour costs (Unless its for that missing 'T' wheel trim that Tim was offering up) ?

Hmmm at £995 it was good value, at £1995 hes got a big ask, but if it sells it means that BX prices are on the up which is good for all of us.

Just been discussing this with Paul on FB Tim. I reckon the trader has a penchant for sheepskin coats and goes by the name of A.Daley?!!

I dont think so Mark, at the end of the day he has a living to make and mouths to feed probably, if he bought it for £400? and sells it for say £1800 then good luck to him for spotting a nice car (most traders wouldnt even think twice trust me) and taking a "punt" (he may end up with it on his forecourt for 6 months though), the more the prices of BX rise then the better it is all round for the rest of us.
In the last 6 months we have seen a 1.6 petrol sell for £2000 and a TZD turbo for considerably more than that so with 3 lovely examples in my possesion Im quite happy and as you own possibly the nicest P1 valver in the UK so should you!

I've no problem with someone making a profit - honest commerce makes the world go round. If he'd bought it for 400 quid, spent a few hundred quid more getting it really tidy, he could legitimately have asked 1800 quid, made an honest profit, sold a lovely car - and everybody's happy. With honest commerce everyone benefits, selfishly trying to make a quick buck - no-one benefits in the end.

I'd steer well clear of this. Just comes across as a grabbing individual. To me it seems a underhanded tactic.
With regards to rising BX prices, I didn't get into BX's or indeed Citroen's in general with a financial incentive. After all, if dear old Andre couldn't make money out of flogging French tin, what hope do I have.

I will be interested to see how long this one hangs about now with its new price tag. At £995 it looked a good buy, at £2k I would be expecting a minter, which it isn't.
Shame no-one a bit more local off here could have bought it.
