To save it, drive it and enjoy it! It`ll mean the release into the wild of one of my other little beauties, the TGD turbo diesel will be on eBay as soon as I can find an alternator and maybe, just maybe, the GTi auto will be back up for sale but probably not until either the estate has passed MOT or this very TZD is back where it belongs-on the road and being enjoyed.
Already stripped some parts of the scrap estate off which might be just what this one needs.
I can`t see the Scooby vented bonnet staying on my estate much longer now, nor the Morettes and maybe not the alloys or the leathers I haven`t got round to fitting anyway.

Well done Billy! Shame I couldnt get to see it first but at that price you cant go far wrong! I did send him another message asking if I could view it but didnt get any response. If you want another pair of hands when trying to collect it/repair it, then let me know when you plan to pick it up and ill pop over with a Haynes and some tools lol.

Thanks folks, especially to Adam for the offer to go and view and the offer of help. I`ll let you know when I go to collect Adam and hopefully meet up with you somewhere around the area if we can get our timings right.
Considering taking the GTi as it has towbar and I can hire a trailer pretty cheaply though failing that the obvious thing is to take my recovery truck.
Can`t wait!
