£219! Thats criminally cheap. One saving grace is the buyer has 2cvs so at least its gone to a citroen enthuiast.

Well, they're not very sought after cars. Even the 16v is relatively unpopular compared with its rivals.

As I've probably said already, its not the money so much that I'm after. I just wanted to do the car justice and get it to a good home (and free up some space!). The chap who's just won seems to be in Northern Ireland, and has sold a few 2CV bits recently, so that looks promising. The guy who came in second though, seemed interesting.....an English born artist who lives in France and paints parts of cars, with a passion for Citroens! Shame he didn't get it!

It is really, but then I've now just about made my money back, so I'm not unhappy. I thought I stood to lose alot at one point

And I have a sneaking suspicion he's in the CCC, so hopefully it might again stand next to it's same-age and similarly-registered 'brother' at a future rally.

Well it's been won by a guy in Northern Ireland who's coming to collect next weekend.

Still gutted

But if you're coming all that way to get a car, it sounds like you do genuinely want it, rather than just a banger. Thats what I keep telling myself
