Yellow Headlamp Bulbs

Yes they certainly look like those..maybe not the same make. The ones I have do look suitably yellow at night but can be a strain to drive on...I did improve the light output a little with uprated bulbs!....I just wondered if the "real" things i.e. yellow bulbs were still available?

Had a look in the supermarket this morning, and they're no longer carrying yellow bulbs, it seems. I'll keep an eye out for any more on sale elsewhere.

As per the bulbs/covers that started this thread mine arrived from Germany via ebay and were fitted today excellent quality and when fitted with the original Bosch bulbs i'd already installed a pretty good light spread.Must say i find the yellow hue much easier on the eye as well as looking tres chic.

Just a thought but with these yellow headlights, what colour should the side lights be?
Should these also be replaced with yellow bulbs? Can you get them?

Originally only the headlights were required to be yellow I think.

Incidentally, I have just tested that 34 year old Headlight yellow lacquer on an external bulkhead light. Works a treat!
