That puts me at ease, I used to think it was me that was stupid, it took a lot of coaching from others before I could upload photos.
Now you have found us Eoin I hope you are going to stay with us as a regular contributor and thanks for the info so far?

Yes! I m not here today gone tomorrow by nature! I m 75 retired and got time on my hands (my significant other lives in Milan and she and I hide away in Val d Aosta when we can). Its taken me 20 years to get back to having a BX and I have been amazed by this vibrant enthusiastic BX forum. The family have not been without at least one Citroen for 40 years however with GS, GSA, BX 14RE, BX Sport, Xantia, AX, CX25 GTi Turbo. These interspersed with sports cars: Porsche 911T, 1973 Carrera 2.7 RS, 1974 Carrera 3.0 RS (ex Le Mans car), 1969 911 TRallye (ex Le Mans car), 924, Group B Turbo (WEC car), Footwork Arrows Porsche Formula One (Alboreto/Caffi 1991 F1 season) and God help me a Ferrari 308. And I now enjoy my 3 Citroens just as much.
Photos I shall send in Via Tim (to whom many thanks) and for the future will get myself up to speed on posting them.

I can vouch that Eoin will be playing a part in the BX side of the CCC and this club too as he has kindly offered to resurect the BX'TRA Register (with a little help from me if required) that was run by the Bradleys a few years ago but has since dwindled away.
Once Eoin is up to speed with everything I would ask that you forward details of your car to him, model, mileage, chassis, colour etc if nooone objects, aparently at the last count there was 142 BX's in the CCC! between 119 members (so its not just me that has more than two!)
I would like to welcome Eoin to the Forum too. I am firmly in the BX camp - despite (not because of) a brief foray into the world of the GS - as you'll remember, Eoin. It's a shame that project failed to materialise, but there's plenty else to ensure my continuing involvement in things BX. And this really is a very good forum.
Let us know when the register is resurrected, and the Red Baron will be glad to join the ranks.
Phil I watched the gallant efforts with the project GS... it was bad luck that things conspired again you. I shall certainly make myself useful thro`Tim. I do use my classics and the BX will get used as well as looked after: redoing the underseal and cavities and the belts will be done in August and the dreaded heater tap is overly stiff for my liking so I shall bite the bullet on that before the winter. I am a confessed francophile - my first girl friend I met in 1955 when she was a Sixth Former at Convent School when the ship I was on (HMS Bulwark) visited Cherbourg and the Gunroom had the girls on for tea! We still meet most years when Retromobile is on or I am doing the Tour Auto and I take her to dinner in Paris (accompanied by her wary husband -only joking).. My son was married to a French girl who is a lawyer in Rennes and I have two French grand daughters. So French connections are impeccable j`espere!

Yes it is my 1972 GS 1220! It will be at Harrogate. I was doing stage rallying with it in a series run by "Slowly Sideways" and we did a demo at Silverstone Classic. I really did push it to the limit and enjoyed total commitment in corners. It was a one owner French car bought for €1000 in December 2005. It has never been restored just kept tidy. At ICCCR2012 it will be largely as entered in the sadly cancelled 2008 London - Taj Mahal Rally and successfully finished two Tour Autos in Regularity and Rally Deutschland (a round of the WRC) in the Historic Class and many major French rallies.

The 308 pics will need scanning... I d saved up for a Daytona but the family persuaded me to get a 308. Whereas with a Porsche the adrenaline comes from what you do with it, with a Ferrari it comes from the thought of the bill if you get it wrong!

Tash? No! Beard yes. But I do have an excuse for the Ferrari. My significant other is Italian, lives in Milan and she has a chalet in Val dAosta. How else do you carve your way through the Friday night traffic up to the mountains. Una bella ragazza Italiana e un Ferrari rosso what more does one want? In fact she approves of the more anonymous grey TGS estate........
