Looks like it's got a big dent in the nsr quarter on the photos.
I hope he doesn't get anywhere near what he's asking, I hate it when traders try to make a quick buck with absolutely no preparation, even if i'm wrong about the dent how much is an indicator.

It really pisses me off if people winge about others making a buck cos they didnt see the opportunity.

I don't know why the seller doesn't just bite the bullet, spend a few hundred quid on it, get it really tidy, then he can reasonably ask 1300 - 1500 quid for it. He'll make a tidy profit and it'd at least look like he had an interest in selling a really nice car instead of just turning a buck. Everybody's happy. What's so difficult about that?

Because he's lazy and just trying to profiteer. I'd avoid a trader like this. Individuals such as this give genuine, honest traders/dealers a bad name.

I think he could reasonably ask £1100 ono. If you could get it for 800 quid you've done well. Ultimately, it's still a bloody nice car that only needs a bit of work to make it one of the nicest BXs around (assuming it's as good as the description - I haven't actually seen it) - AND everyone's favourite colour.

With the cosmetic issues sorted, £1500 would have been a reasonable price, for a low mileage excellent example. As it stands I'd offer £900. He probably paid £300-400 at auction.

Erm, are we forgetting that this is a petrol 1900 carb auto, not exactly desirable imho, even with the cosmetic issues sorted its not worth more than £750. I'd much rather have a low spec 1.9 n/a diesel with twice as many miles for £750, but thats just me of course
