Have you have found a source of cheap ABS hubs, let us know mate!

Typical, phoned up the place & no they arent, apparently for the ABS versions it comes with the coplete hub carrier (not sure if this is true or why so?), but they then quoted over £90 a corner which is slightly up on the non abs versions at £14.99 each, gulp

Sounds about right.
The bearing comes with the hub on ABS and Non ABS cars. It's a pants bit of design really...

Bummer, although £15 for non abs is CHEAP!

Disconnect the ABS? Not ideal but a shitload cheaper. Is this possible or just idiocy?

If u have a deathwish, no idea if its possible to do that from a technical point of view.

Disconnecting the ABS is easy, and makes the brakes better IMHO.

You can also "fool" the ECU into thinking the rear ABS sensors are there when they are not. so you can still have ABS on the front should you want it.
