Good idea Mat, I'll have a look at the spare, although that was just an advisory.

I will report on the corrosion after I go back next week and speak to Richard about it.

Dont forget if you are carrying a spare at the tie of mot it must be legal as it should be checked by the tester,
However if no spare is carried in/on/under the car, that is not a failure so leave the dodgy wheel at home

Dear Jane,
Firstly, I am so sorry to hear that she failed Jane :(
Just remember Jane, slowly slowly catchy monkey  I think, when you first got your car, you prioritised really well how to get things done slowly, and I am sure you will get there too Jane :D [-o<

Same both sides apparently  , going next week to have this and all the other stuff done. I may resort to selling my children to pay for it. Anyone offers (the youngest one comes with his own xBox)?

Haven't posted on here for a bit, nothing interesting has happened carwise since the MOT. I got all the work done and it passed but still needing to address the corrosion in the B pillar.
I'm currently on the bus having dropped the car off to have the nearside arm bearing done so hopefully will have a quieter drive from now on (SQUEEEEK, CLONK, GRATE, CREAK, SQUEEK) I may also be having some spark plugs and an ignition coil because we've had a few starting issues in this horrible wet weather.

I also managed to lose a wheel trim a few weeks ago and although I've scoured the hedgerows it is nowhere to be seen. I've removed all the others but the wheels are a bit of a mess so I've ordered a new set. Not sure if I'm going to like them or not, I'll post a picture when they're on. It's so difficult because there just aren't any out there that are similar to the originals. I do still have a full set but I'm putting them away safely in my shed.

Wow, I hadn't realised how much difference that arm bearing would make, it's like driving on a cloud! I love my BX all over again. On a sad note there was talk of much rust appearing. I didn't have time to get all the details today but I will find out next week, hope it's all fixable.
