I'm informed it's almost certainly the wastegate which was a theory to begin with, so seeing as I've found one going I'm taking it, can't do any harm. Should be having the car looked at/fixed soon. I've also found a way to do the arm bearings (not myself - I'm useless) for a very good price! I have a few interesting ideas aswell for the car but they can remain secret for now (don't worry, I'm not one for "ricing out" a car)

Update :: I've decided to formerly re-name this car. Its new name shall be "the grey green you-know-what stain" ...

I no longer want to get this thing back on the road. If I get it fixed it's going on eBay!

Perhaps it's cursed?

I tried moving the aerial ... snapped off.

I tried removing the mud guards ... nut broke.

I tried removing the wind deflector ... I bent a bracket ...

These can be fixed I know ... but I'm starting to think it's not worth it.

I'm thinking that maybe I should sell the interior (seats + door cards) then scrap the rest.

That is all.

Haha yeah I know, the thing is it doesn't drive, and needs a lot of work before it can

It's a lot more broken than just the turbo.

What is a TXD interior worth out of interest?

I thought you were getting some help in sorting out your txd turbo?

A full set of mint txd seats are worth £30-40ish, so hardly worth the effort.

It doesn't drive at the moment, at all, so you'd have to pick it up on a trailer. The car overall is in a very sorry state, it's basically been left out in the elements for weeks/months, and there's a lot that needs attention.

No progress has been made in a while ...

Update for the sake: the car is now sat outside my house on SORN and it looks ugly. I hope the neighbours don't get funny with me.

Since those pictures the car's been sat in a farm yard for months ...

Depending on what happens I might post more updates but since few people read them or are interested in this car anymore, I don't see much point.

The aim is still to get it "road worthy" and stick it on eBay.

Update on the white TZD, it's unlikely I can use it for a while since insurance is not possible, donations are welcome

I don't actually expect them.

Not for the first time I now have 2 cars sat outside my house and can't use either.
