Hi, welcome to the club.
That is a fine looking BX there, and a rather rare spec. If it wasn't so lovely and original I'd offer you a set of 16v alloys to liven it up a bit
I'm 99% sure that I actually know who you are... From my student days - How many people can there be round here with a 007 2CV who are also called Rich?
Regards,
Matt

Excellent... great to have you on board!
If you ever need any parts for your car let me know, I have loads.
I'm doing well thanks. How are you? Never thought you'd buy a BX... very good choice. Although having said that, mine hasn't started due to an electrical fault for months now
Here's my car. Traded up from my old 1.4 to a full blown 16 valve:

Hi rich what is the secret to such a fine looking wheel. Proffesional job or DIY?

DIY with a rattle can.
The wheels were in ok condition to start with... just surface rust fortunatly.
I attacked them with a wire brush bit on my drill, followed by rust killer, a coat of Zinc 182 spray primer and then 2 coats of top coat which is Gris Rose intended for my 2cv wheels.

Stripping paint off odd bits of your car to make it 'rat look'?
