Re: BX Club at the NEC - Stand discussion
I'll bring the BXclub banners x2, some more laminates, camping table for when Ian departs, catering skills ( sarnies ) and a 1989 BX gti 16 valve. Oh and myself. Looking forward to it.

Re: BX Club at the NEC - Stand discussion
I have some more laminated thingies, including some A3 if there's any more "wall" needs filling up.
As well as 'personal effects' I shall also be bringing
Hydraflush and parcel shelf for Ian
Wheels for Tim
Flapjack
Possibly a table with a 'ole in it if required
A parasol
and a partridge in a pear tree.

Surely 'three French hens' would be more appropriate!

Re: BX Club at the NEC - Stand discussion
Oops. Last minute thing - EVERY CAR ON THE STAND WILL NEED A DRIP TRAY! (or more depending on how many leaks there are...)
I know Mike's bringing a big sheet for the incontinent Mk1 estate but please be aware of where your BX drips. You can get cheap trays from most places. Anything that stops the stuff getting on the floor will do.
Probably wise for the break-down team (ie those there on the Sunday) to have some wipes or similar for cleaning up any minor messes. And some way of dealing with the drip trays...
I'm probably not going to be on here after tomorrow but can still (very slowly!) pick up PMs.

Re: BX Club at the NEC - Stand discussion
Tim, i dont think you listed the two sets of bunting?
As for drip trays, the're completely useless unless there is some sort of absorbent. Cement is the MSA approved, but i would strongly recommend some cat litter for anyone anticipating leaks. If your clever with a bin liner and some kitty litter, an improv drip tray is easily achieved with little mess or fuss.
For anyone getting into mechanical difficulties, there are a range of resources (tools, parts, fluids) at my house (15 minutes from NEC) and while i'm not there, i'm sure i can arrange access should anyone need it!
