Dear Mat.
Thanks ever so much Mat, for all the technical info, about the air-con
Mat :D  That is very very kind of you to do all that, the info will be
a great help indeed in helping me to sort that problem out Mat :D I don.t
want to go delving in there without knowing what part is at fault and not
having a new one to do the job with. :) I think what I will do first is to
disconnect the inner cable of the heater control cable, on the heater tap,
and see how my hot/cold control works then :!: But thanks so much
very very much Mat :D  that has been a massive help.
Chris did say to me when they brought the car over to me, that the
air-con was working on the car  and I have no reason to doubt
them Mat. :) I will have a play and see how I get on.
No there not from 1993  no I have to wait for 20 years, before
I can afford them
Anyway Mat Take Care, you are very kind thank-you.
All The Best.
Vince.

There are different ways to read that, and I reckon you meant it in the way that someone like me would read it. And if that was the case, then NO we really don't want that!!
Always down to "that" level ey Kitch
You know me!

But all the photos are up/visible now, of a very nice BX Vince has, well done sir 8)

BTW Vince, have you taken the rear hatch wiper and arm off for a reason or was it missing when you bought it (As I have one which I can send you FOC with the other bits I've got for you)?

Kitch wrote:Where's the sound deadening gone on the bulkhead? Every 16 I've had has it (I think it was only the 14 that didn't).
Hi Vince, I noticed that you have not answered Kitch's question above.

Is it not the case that that bulkhead is a firewall and the felting is a fire-retardant to give some more time to the cabin occupants if you should be so unlucky?

I am presuming that you have removed it to give a cosmetic "clean" look but is that preferable to its intended design? Must be noisier too? :?

Dear Way2go.
Firstly my sincerest apologies for not replying to Mr Kitch, about the
sound-proofing on the BX. I read his kind thread and took it on board
and I will look into it, but I can,t see why the previous owner would have
removed it having had the car from new :o
Besides, the part is most probably no longer in production now any-way and no it isn,t noisy either.
All The Best.
Take Care.
Vince.

That's a great looking car Vince.
My 16 doesn't have the sound deadening stuff on the bulk head either.
My favourite colour too.
