NO thanks on Alton Towers, its stupidly expensive and you have to que for AGES, and end upi going home soggy and cold.

RAF Cosford sounds more my cuppa (my dad was in the RAF you see).

BUMP. Can I just confirm how many are definitely attending, as I'll need to pre-book tickets for the open cockpit session in the evening. If however you don't won't to attend the open cockpit session and just make it a day visit that's fine. I was thinking of 10 am as a start time, as there is quite a lot to see. I'll probably just bring a packed lunch to save money. Cheers. Mark. :)

For me it'll be a toss up between this and Little Horwood. I'm a probable - when will you need a definite answer by? Unless they are OK with a little bit of flexibility on the numbers?

I'll ring RAF Cosford and check how long they will wait until they receive a confirmed booking for the open cockpit session. It does say on their website numbers are limited. We can just spend the day looking around the usual exhibits etc and save the evening session for another time. Is 10am ok for everyone?

10am is a bit early in my book I must admit. I'm not really one for loitering in museums - I tend to buzz around them pretty quickly. That's why I liked the cockpit aspect.

If the open cockpit session is a go, then we could go for a later start. I'll give them a ring tomorrow and see what's what.

If the trip across to France for the 30th anniversary is a go obviously it will clash with this planned trip to RAF Cosford. Is everyone ok with possibly re-scheduling it?

Ok. Didn't want anyone getting cheesed off that's all. We could always make the RAF Cosford visit a pre-Xmas run out. After all it's only just over four months away!! :)

Making it a pre-Xmas run sounds like a great plan, theres not much car stuff on at that time of year so I might be allowed out without the kids 8)
