Sounds like a good idea! finding a 19TRi or TZI estate would be interesting!

Dunno about TRi's but there are at least a couple of TRS's about (which mechanically are pretty much GT's I understand), and then there's the 4x4 GTi's to consider too.

I know that last year I was asked serveral times if we had a 8 valve GTi on the stand and why not?
So a performance based stand could be a popular choice.

The 8v's do seem to be a bit overlooked round here. Personally if I was going to have a go faster model a GTi (or GT) would be my choice

Certainly I could provide the Sport – it needs a little tidying but nothing too much… My GTI 4X4 needs a rear bumper – the present one has quite a big crack and there are some other areas that need serious tidying on it but it could be done. There are better 4X4s out there though. However I don't think we should ignore the diesels which are what the BX is best remembered for in many memories.

Im hoping Mitch the 4x4 estate isn't going to need too much work to get at least roadworthy, so that I can put him forward - he's the tidiest car I've got at the moment!

I'm ruling out Timex as he's been on before, and Fred because he's not going to be good or bad enough!

How many cars is the stand allowed to have? & the voting system seemed to work great last time, so thats probably the best way.

The only reason for the suggestion is that most club stands are the same year on year, whereas if it was a slightly different theme each year it may get more coverage & potential interest?

I can't stand clubs that have the same cars every year. Most, thankfully, vary things a great deal - I don't think they're the same every year at all. A few seem to have the same cars EVERY year. I would be thrilled if I never saw that horrible, customised blue Skoda again.

Ian, don't take it personally, it wasn't aimed that way! I was there for 4 days too...we did great with the lack of experience and basically having no money. Last year we built on that experience and this year we shall do the same....but we do need some more point of sale material.....which is my point.
