Ed,

Your switch symptom is caused by the ignition switch barrel binding a bit in its housing and after starting the engine the internal spring does not return the barrel to its correct position. The result is that some of the ignition switch contacts do not remake.


An ignition switch buff.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
