Are the petrol pipes?
Diesel ones are different..

I'll be using copper pipe for mine!

Which continuing the rather spooky trend is also very nearly finished...
I'll have the wing off this saturday mate, Sunday it's the transport thing down the docks, but I'll be over the following weeknd if your about then..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Looks pretty good to me and not really a weak game! Progress is being steadily made and as one who has never got into the welding game, I can only admire. :D Looks a real labour of love.

 Puzzled though, why 2 patches on both holes? :? Does that give stronger reinforcement or is it only because spare metal is not big enough? :?

There's not a major difference, but they aint the same.
Both the diesel pipes turn through 90deg at the back end and head towards the tank.
The petrol has one pipe that heads north, and the other heads straight back where up on it joins to a rubber pipe that comes from the pump kinda thing...
JonKW wrote:Cool on the rear wing. So I'll pencil in for w/e of Sat 24th??
Yep, that works for me, although Biro or fountain pen work just as well!!

Yes!

Selfish bastards aint they..
And no doubt he has since pegged it, so not only did he cause huge tail backs, but he's cost the tax payer money for nothing.
I'd have shot him right there and swept the bugger into the gutter, road re-open in 3 minutes, job done!

The tanks sat on the floor!

You are going to have your ca finished before mine, and I've been arsing around with that thing since last August!
:( :(

Ho hum....

Look forward to seeing it in the metal this weekend!

Not wishing to hijack your thread, but here's what my wreck looks like about now:
Oh dear god it's a mess!

Although it does idle rather well! And no there are no capacitors in the rev counter......

I know it sounds raspy, there's no exhaust on it!

Good work Jon. I also have jacking point issues. Very nicely done that!
And I see what you mean about the yellow colour!
Hope you fellas have a good weekend fiddling about with each others' bits and be sure to post some photos - or maybe another short film from the camera of Chris? :D
Todd

Have you seen Chris's video of the bus? Not the most exiting but you've got to listen to his commentary...
