Great snowman gag Phil! I was thinking : that's not a snowman, that's a polar ice cap in his garden :D
Also I like that I phone helicopter thing - probably look up in a minute and see one hovering outside the window.. watching

Hi Phil
looking at that aerial shot i didn't realise they had 2 circuit's at the museum the bigger one looks fun.
and yes i would be up for a club jolly in 2011.
you had me fooled with the huge snowman but i don't think your garden would have enough snow in it to make one that big.

Regards kermit

I quite fancy the idea again, although if we're missing out the driving roads of the Alps I'd probably take the van...slightly more comfy to sleep in! (But more painful to fall out of).

I'll do a draft proposal then.

On a different subject, I sort of can't believe it but it's been 11 days since I had any alcohol and - by and large - I don't miss it. (Even my New Years Eve was pretty sober!) I seem to be eating to compensate, but that'll die down. I hope to lose three stone at least this year. Gawd knows I need to.

I'm still smoking too much, which is a tad bad, although I did think about giving up (again) but still haven't, probably too late now anyway, but I've been drinking more than ever since xmas...
Ironically it seems to be the best way for me to put weight on, and not wishing to sound smug or owt, but I really need to!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

A mini-rant. What is it with people who can't f***in' spell? OK we all make mistakes (I'd be the first to admit) and sometimes don't check what we post. Often forced into editing immediately myself.... BUT

People who think it's acceptable to post twaddle using phonetics. For f***'s sake.

Since when did 'Citroënian' become 'Citronian'? OK I might be pedantic but FOR FU**'S SAKE. GET IT RIGHT YOU LAZY, SEMI-LITERATE BAS***DS!

And while I'm at it, Jacksun et al. I appreciate it is clearly difficult for you but PLEASE draft what you want to say, check it - use a frigging spell-checker for a change - and THEN post it. The mauling that the English language gets on internet forums is breathtaking. TXT SPK we know is poor practice, but gobbledegook and mindless 'estimations' of spelling are worse. A five minute delve into eBay confirms that (excepting those for whom English isn't their main language of course :D ) for whatever reason, the standards of English are atrocious.

Rant over.

Agreed!
The valver had been laid up for a couple of months witha broken radius arm, but having killed the TD last week I fixed the old black beast today and drove it home for the first time in, er, two months.. Still smiling!
All at 69.9MPH too!
