As I have said elsewhere: Wait until this particular French objet d'art throws a wobbly and we'll see!
Defection? Not really something a confirmed BXer can ever do, as it's in the blood. But the XM does provide an interesting distraction!

Im sure its good news and theres enough love to go round Phil, you would rightly expect the XM to be "better" than the BX as it cost twice as much new and was designed about 8/10 years later.Philip Chidlow wrote:Is this bad news or good news? I'm loving the XM.
You wont find a bigger BX nut (nutter?) than me but I still love my SD1 just as much as I do my xantia

What's this about an XM then Phil? Have I missed the story somewhere - I was away for three weeks. Lets have some pics then and the whole selling-of-your-soul confession!
Actually I think XMs look alright from the outside - I can't really deal with the overload of buttons inside, though that will keep you busy for a while working out what they all do!

My XM story to come... when I've got a moment, and pics too (tomorrow hopefully) now it's had a wash and a good Zymolizing. Went out in it today and then went out in the BX. I actually prefer driving the BX, but the XM is a good place to be - especially for the passengers. It was bought primarily for two or three long trips including a week down near Carcassonne. Only 20 kms or so from Alaigne actually!

Also looking forward to piccies and the story behind it!!
I enjoy my 2.1TD estate but find it too bloody big in carparks etc....
