Exciting stuff!

It'll be some time in January, probably. I am seriously considering paying for a large lock up (with power and good security) - at least for the next year. Finding one will prove the hard bit, although I have a couple of possible leads...

If it's got power you will need extention leads
Sounds good i think making a replica of the one you pictured would be a fantastic project and one which you would learn so much about the car and how it comes apart and how it works.

Update: The GS project hangs in the balance because we can't secure a workspace (that we can afford) in the Worthing area. Tomorrow is the crunch day. If we don't have a secure, affordable and practical place for the GS we can't buy it. As it is, money is tight at this moment in time so buying it would be a strain, but I guess that is fairly academic until after tomorrow.

Ho hum

OK I'm mad, but we need a seven seater for the summer, and what with keeping the BX on the road and a new project for the Citroen Classic Challenge (even if it isn't GS-shaped), something had to give. Ah well.

Oh No Phil
You are getting rid of your pride and joy.
Still as you say you need more seats and a synergie seems the best way to go
Definitely a TD not an HDI.
I bet you are going to be sad to see her go.
A good buy for someone.

Thanks, but I must admit the BX is the car I prefer! The XM is great but given the choice...

I don't expect a silly amount for this car, as it is old and for a new owner nothing is guaranteed, but that's a lot of metal (and rubber!) for the money:)

You've made the roght move, the peanuts you would get for the BX wouldnt be worth you selling it, plus its a known quantity and as you say a great car to drive.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Aye. This is the sort of vehicle we will get to replace the XM probably:

or

Although there is always this combination:

NOT this particular one, but same spec:

Plus:

XM's gone now. Time to take stock. I think - although its tempting to consider taking an as-yet unobtained GS ont he Challenge, I may not be able to resist the lure of a BX.

Yep, it's going to hard to find a good TZD turbo - especially an estate, but in all honesty there's no real rush.
