I looked everywhere, and it's nowhere to be found! How very annoying...
In any case, does someone have a spare set of three locks with fitting keys? Or is there some easy ways around changing all the locks?
Thanks in advance! (And a happy new year from me as well )

I have been through this sort of thing recently.
You can buy ignition switch plus 4 locks sets for a reasonable sum. This is your best and only option unless you are fortunate enough to get an offer from a BX clubber. You get TWO keys as well.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
I never lock it when it's garaged, so that's not an issue.
I'll ask the local dealer if he can get me a set of locks tomorrow. And I'll never remove the key from my key chain ever again
It's so weird, I usually don't loose stuff. Especially not like this...

I don't, but a certain tea leaf in London does cos he nicked me Orig Clarion pull out and me swiss army knife! Still, at least he was considerate enough not to break a window and cause me extra grief!

i anaged to get an igntion barrel with wireing, and all the locks from the local citroen dealer - it was under a £100 as i remember. My key bust in the ignition barrel, i ended up butchering the whole barrel trying to remove what was left of the key, never got round to changing the rest of the locks. The new ignition barrel never did fit quite right and the wiring was a bit different, i plugged the connector in any how and it works fine.. and mine has the deisel glow plug light - that will do for me

Is there any difference between petrol and diesel models or something like that? Here's an original citroen set for 50gbp. I'd take the deal as he ships to switzerland as well.
Oh and how would I be able to open up the fuel lid? In case of the BX it's even one piece with the barrel and plug. Would drilling work?
Thanks!

A petrol barrell will fit a diesel, infact Valeo only make one set now. Although if this set isn't for an ABS car and you have ABS you'll need to add a fly wire off the plug for it.
The fuel filler is actually easy to open without a key.
Get a flat blade screw driver, hammer it into the lock, undo. It's almost quicker than using the key.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
So I got myself a set of keys and today I finally got around giving it a try. Problem is, the old lock will only come out if you have the key...
There's this little pin on the side of the lock that only moves if the key is inserted. I already tried drilling it but it doesn't even have a scratch, while the casing of the lock as well as the barell took damage.
Silly asking, as the only answer probably is "drill harder", but is there some kind of trick on how to remove this thing? I'm holding the new lock as a reference behind it:
I'll start changing the locks on the doors now...

when i did this i went for butchering the end where the key goes in, just start with screw drivers and drills, drill out the guts of it. IF you can drill out the pin it would be neater i guess, like you i wasnt making much headway

First I tried picking it (it is a pickable lock after all ) but after half an hour of fiddling and failing I gave up. Then I tried drilling it, like you did, everywhere I could. There wasn't much left of its original shape but it still wouldn't come out. But then... I thought of using the proxxon to grind the pin of and it worked very well!
A few pictures of what it looked like...
old and new
the new one is significantly shorter, so I won't have a wheel lock anymore. But who cares, it was annoying anyway!
