With a steady stream (or trickle at least) of what appear to be half decent BXs there is little danger of prices climbing and similarly still a good 'pool' of BXs to give enthusiasts and new-comers a fighting chance of getting the BX they need.

There will come a time when a good TZD turbo will be keenly fought over, echoing the higher value of a good 16v...

Eventually there will be a core of well-cared-for and loved examples with a larger number of BXs on their last legs... and it is at that point we need to address the issue of parts as Jaba discussed elsewhere. However, there must still be tens of thousands in Europe that are still in perfectly good order, and a correspondingly higher availability of parts, so maybe not even then should we really worry.

It might be a different story in twenty years' time...

At which point many of us won't be concerned with BXs as we could all be driving around in £250 C6's

Well, roll on 2020 when fuel costs £5 a litre, road tax is £2000 p.a. and you shouldn't have too much difficulty finding one for that price (assuming all pre-2015 cars haven't been compulsorily recycled). :D

It's a good point Philios de Chidderino. I may not even be 20 yrs time but more like 10 maybe? There seems to be a one virtually every other day and I would of thought in this financial climate that people would hold on to them? Perhaps this is the watershed - the point where any really interested people (BXC/BXP) already own a BX and others who perhaps are less attached to the BX per se are selling off. Ergo market saturation as you point out. A few on here have more than one so unless there are some budding new enthusiasts then perhaps BX population is about to tumble!

I won't because I haven't got a passport. Mind you if we did a RoundBritainhopalongC6donkeykongathonmarthonwithyummypeanutstakingabongalonglikecheechandchongathon I suppose I could have a go. Big Phil Scolariochino could take a C6, you can bring your Trumper and I'll bring my Suburban.
