Surely if it was 'one of the last' it would've been a cat version? £12,000? Who's to say he doesn't consider it worth it? But who on Earth would pay that?

Begs the question how much would the finest original valver with 65k and lots of restoration be worth - or rather, what would it's market value be? £2,000?

Either way, seem like this example might well be extremely nice, along with it's green paintwork and air conditioning. Toruble is, I think the seller's lost sight of the fact it's a BX... Best of luck to him!

(My guess is he really doesn't want to sell it - and who can blame him?!)...

jesus  mines had more work done than that and its just as clean just cause its on a 1995 reg doesnt make it worth 11,000 more. Infact mine must be worth a good £5000 then with a fsh and £12000 worth of recipts

He's off his tits!

So it's a green 1992 valver, which sat around until 1995 and then had a reg plate put on it?
If it had less than 100miles on it I'd almost think it was worth £5k to the right person, but now it has as near as makes no difference 70k on it.
He paid £10k for it with nearly zero mileage, has put 70k miles on it and now wants to sell it for £2k more??!

It'll be pretty rust free, but it will have the wear and tear of any valver.

Thats possibly the most deranged BX sale I've ever seen. A car is only a future classic if enough people care and sadly, not enough give a stuff about BX 16v's to ever make it valuable. I think most valvers on here hold sentimental value, none are actually worth that much regardless of how much has been sunk into them.

I reckon a 40k mile D6C with full history, original bill of sale and one previous owner would be worth £1700 in the UK tops. And it'd be a better car than that.

Mad!

Ah, that Macedonian sense of humour! I enjoyed reading that. Yes, a fine example, just move the decimal point so it reads 1,200 GBP.
If that really was the value we could all have round the world cruises after flogging our examples. I've just upped the value of mine from 12p to 7000 GBP - cos it's got original 80s moss growing on it and you know how rare that is? :D

" Car is generally not intended for sale - I would, however, consider serious collectors' offers (in any case above 12,000 GBP)"

Of course he would!

I have an empty 'Magnam' ice cream wrapper on the desk here:

Wrapper is generally not intended for sale - I would, however, consider serious collectors' offers (in any case above 12p)"

And it's made in Spain. But Gandini has a Triton Green Valver so thats ok then?!

We UK boys are all wankers apparently aswell, we thrash our cars, and crash them, where as this guy has never abused his car, probably because he's not allowed out of his padded cell for long enough to get the car started.

I'm on some pretty cracking drugs at the mo, but I want whatever this nutjobs on.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Crazy guy wrote:BX 16v examples around (mostly UK cars) that, almost without exception, have led a stressed and wearing life, with most of their owners abusing rather then using them, not to mention hidden high-mileage examples and generally worn-out mechanics, transmissions and (almost w/o exception) hidden past accidents (not unrelated to the wild performance of this underrated model and its generally delicate handling balance).
Is this guy for real?

Wild performance... Come on. I know they are quick... but wild?

Delicate handling balance... Has this guy even driven the car?

It sounds more like he's describing a Porsche 930 Turbo for christ sake...
