Bereavment Sale

Post by Tim Leech »

Ive had an very sad email today from the daughter of a CCC member and long time BX fan asking for assitance to dispose of her late fathers collection of BXs, 3 estates, 2 hatches, 3 of which are autos and 2 manuals.

One is a white TZD turbo estate with just over 61k on the clock and another is an uber rare 19TRi estate auto with 147k, a TXD auto with less than 100k on the clock and a 19TZS auto, 141k and a TZD estate with accident damage and 199k

Any interested parties please get in touch and I will pass your details on. I am awaiting full details and ideas of costs, they are all MOTed and driveable except the damaged TZD.

Location is near crewkern. correction sorry BOURNEMOUTH!

Crewkerne is not far from me at all, and I'd be very interested in the TZD estate, not least because I might fit in it, but also as my current DTR turbo is beginning to fall to bits.

If anyone would like me to go and look over any of the cars for them, I'd be happy to. The TZi auto estate I suspect will find a home fairly easily too, as that's a rather interesting car.

Thanks for all the interest guys, the diesels will sell easily, and the TRi auto as David says is a interesting and in the best colour of course (ey Stuart!)

Awaiting a reply back from Amanda, so will keep you all upto speed, Quite fancy the white TZS auto estate purelay as it has a short MOT and i doubt anyone else would want it.

Hopefully they should all go to a good home if they're finding their way onto here. I'd also be interested in the white TZD estate mainly. Mine needs a bit of work on it buts its good for a daily driver. Ideally i'd like another example that i'm not going to rack up a load of miles on and can keep in top condition long term. MOT is not such a crucial issue for me as its kind of reset when importing into Ireland and the car then has to be tested on the anniversary month of its registration, this can sometimes work out well because imports are tested in two-year cycles, its a strange system but can work out favourably for importers of older cars, a test can sometimes not be due until nearly 2 years after importing.

Anyway Roverman, let me know about the cars when you can if you would.
Thanks
Max

I too would be very interested in the TZD estate, but I see a couple of days away from the net and suddenly everyone wants a TZD estate!
Ho hum..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Had a long chat with Amanda today, she herself is a BX nutter and wants the cars to go to good homes, I have agreed to buy the 19TZS auto estate with little/no MOT as its probably the lame duck and would be the most difficult to sell.

Regards the TRi auto estate and TZD turbo (accident damaged one) estate if anyone seriously interested please let me know as I dont think she would be looking for much money for those.

As for the TXD and the TZD estate with low miles she already has some people interested in these already so if they dont sell I will of course keep you updated.

I am off down to Ringwood (near bournemouth) next sunday to collect the TZS estate, funny I manage 13 years of bx ownership without an estate then I buy two in 2 months!

TXD auto is still available, its silver and in quite good nick and has recently had some gerbox work done. Long MOT and i think its taxed offers around £450-500 would be welcomed.

Only cars left now are the TXD auto and the TZD turbo estate with the accident damage on it, I imagine the damaged one would be free to agood home but would need to be trailered.
