BX19 auto for sale (again)...

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Not sure what the story here is, but:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-BX-19-AUT ... 0287323043

The seller bought it on the 7th February http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0303971258

and it's now up for sale....

So what's wrong with it? I doubt it can be that she's selling it to make money, having bought it for £350 and put 6 months tax on. :? :?:

And the description is, well, at least 50% gibberish.

Philip, Demag and Tim
I agree with you ALL :!: 'LUVVELY SPELLIN ' eh :!:

EXTRACT from FLEA BAY seller's description in UPPER CASE + (I've added a few smiley's with a few comment's just for laugh of course) :-

THERE ARE NO HIDDEN AGENDA'S ABOUT THIS ONE WHAT YOU SEE IS
(As Demag has stated 'Rumbling engine? Maybe more serious than described by first seller' I agree with Demag :!:
has it been fixed or has she put some MAGIC oil additive into the block to mask the problem :?: )

IS REALLY WHAT YOU GET WILL YOU EBAYER'S OUT THERE REMEMBER
(Yes I do remember Luv, In Law it states on a private sale for a vehicle 'Let the buyer BEWARE' :!: )

THAT THIS IS NOT A FARRAHI 480 BRAKE HORSE POWER MID ENGINE REAR WHEEL DRIVE
(Thats right :!: you've advertised it as a ^^ ^^ & yes Ferrari's usually are RWD & ^^bx>'s are usually FWD unless its the rare 4x4,
unless you've managed to cobble up the rear end off a 4x4 ^^bx> and removed the front driveshaft's )

BUT A VERY LATE BX 19 WHICH WAS TOP DOLLER FOR ITS DAY
(WAS is past tense :!: So the same can be said for a lot of other cars when they were brand new,
So what shes trying to say it's NOT now and its had its day
She also states its 'A VERY LATE BX 19' but its on a 'H plate',I've got a TXD on a 'K plate' which I'll be scrapping soon, I know of one on a 'L plate') :!:

YOU WOULD BE SILLY TO BY PASS ON THIS ONE (Why :?: )

MORE SO IF YOUR A BIG FAN OF EARLY CITROENS SO WHY WAIT ANY LONGER???
(I'm a VERY big fan of Citroen's Luv :!: like many of us on this forum and I was very patient, three years in fact :!:
before I bought my first low mileage 55K, 1 owner, FSH, ^^bx> 17 DTR after looking at lots of rubbish typically described as
'Immaculate and first to see will buy' blah blah

START BIDDING NOW YOU WONT BE ABLE TO TURN AWAY FROM THIS '1'
 (Just have ) :!:

I WILL BE PUTTING PHOTOES ON OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO
(Maybe she meant POTATOES as in the jacket type :!: but normally they only take 2-3 hrs to bake not a DAY OR SO) #-o :D

PLEASE BE PATIENT GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE YOUR CHANCE IS COMEING SOON
( :? is it :!: What for :?: A Jackpot Lottery win ) :!:

Philip you never know who she'll 'hoik' IN :!: Take a look a the 1991 VOLVO on a 'J Plate' she SOLD prior to buying the ^^bx>':-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0284123126

Once again with 'LUVVELY SPELLIN ' eh :!:

And the bidding list:-

http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... 0284123126

I hope this gave you all a bit of a LAUGH reading this, as it took up some time putting it together =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Thank you :!:

Nicely done. Who is this seller? I noticed in her feedback, someone referred to her as a 'Crackpot' and 'nut'... Spot on I'd say.

*Edit*: She's edited the listing. This one takes the biscuit!

RxBX,

I did have a bit of a titter at that!

Would you trust an ebayer who has only made 41 transactions and has less than 100% feedback? I wouldn't.

"DONT WASTE TIME WITH MESSAGES ITS A GIFT"

Which roughly translates as 'It's a pile of shit and if you don't ask questions about it, I don't have to tell the truth'.

Don't do that! The reason there's a lack of edit button on some of the forums is because I did exactly this a while back and it caused a fair bit of annoyance.

Edit should be for editing.... not deleting.
