The valver is due for some surgery this year, I hoped to get it done last year but I am struggling to find anyone to take it on. I have the pipes jus need to get them fitted and as you say have another look at that chassis leg and do the repairs. It would be nice to get behind the wheel again as its done 200 miles in 2 years.

My first Xantia clutch change took took me that long Vanny :wink: Partly due to my back though, I must admit...

Second one took precisely a day. As you say, it's all about learning and getting stuck in..

I'm now stuck into a V6 and learning all over again :lol: :lol:

Oh you wait till you have to work on the PSA v6 diesel as fitted to the Disco 3, now thats a difficult V6 to work on, the Xantia V6 is like childs play in comparison. Although ive only ever taken a V6 engine out of a Xanty and a 406
