Where's that from? It's from a MK 1 body kit isn't it? Are you going to fit it? (Straight, I mean   )

I think it is originally from one of those Mk 1 tuning catalogues...

It says Postert on it, but i've never seen another one like it. all the other ones knocking about on ebay.fr etc. are different.

I'm not going to fit it. Just wanted to see what it looked like on the car... Might be up for sale soon, but it's technically my dad's so...

Good find Matt.
If it is stamped postert then their is a good chance it is in their brochure which you can download from my website - bx16valve.com - Sales Brochures - BX Related.

I reckon that bumper would fetch very good money on ebay, especially if you allow 'foreign' buyers access to bid from France and the like and could post it out.
Tailblazer things are also quite popular so don't chuck it out or give it away cheap.

Yes, I like that - I'm fond of 80s BX bodykits! ( and other styling accessories) Would probably look better on a Mk.1 ( like that TRS for sale in spotted section). It seems that all tailblazers are a bit broken especially across the top where it's almost impossible to open the boot without snapping off those particularly thin strips of plastic. Billy's right that they'd snap that up 'overseas' - especially Spain I reckon :D

It's similar to body kit as 'Toddao' spotted and posted on the forum on Feb 21, 2009 'Postert' BX Bodykit (That one had provision for fog/spot lamps to the front bumper) :-

But as to the the Tail-blazer ! As most of the top is broke/missing like most I've seen it won't be worth that much (I think I've only ever seen one that was 100% in tact fitted to a BX.

It is 95% the same as the bumper on that auction... but mine doesn't have the cut-outs for the driving lights... and where it joins the wheel arch has a slightly different profile

That's why i say, i've never seen this exact one before...

Don't worry about me giving it away... I realised it was going to be worth quite a lot, when I got numerous PMs from people

As I said: "it may be coming up for sale..."

so I'm not decided yet... plus it isn't really mine to sell.

I would like to see this fitted after the bidding war has been won!

As for tailblazers, there were two different types - one completely red, one with red top, orange bottom 8) . A boxed one sold on Ebay here last year for €€€s.
I just can't get enough of the Accessoires BX!

Tailblazers are brilliant, especially on light-coloured cars. If I was still running a hatchback, I'd have your arm off for that!
