1991 BX 19TGD estate and a few other pics

Post by rob-81 »

To celebrate passing my MOT today, I thought I would post a few pics of my BX.... The car passed with no advisories (after a new exhaust and a quick rear light cluster rewire).

That's a fine collection of Citroens you've had Rob. I like your current choice of course! Are you living somewhere coastal? It looks very nice!

My bx with "GRX", just bought by my friend Ewan, to use as an everyday car instead of his DS and 2Cv, from Terry.

Todo: I live in Ipswich, the county town of Suffolk. One of it's few redeeming features is the beautiful coastline a few miles away!

So, GRX has moved on; great to see it in good company!

Yep, GRX is in safe hands. Unfortunately, s/he(??) blew a rear cylinder soon after Ewan bought it but has now been sorted and is fighting fit. I have managed to steal the rear headrests!

Another picture of my BX, my newish TZD this time. Lots of snow here in Suffolk. The BX has been pretty good in snow, I guess mainly because of it's low weight and decent tyres.

Ah, nice to see it still in use. I've experienced the joy of the A14 as a passenger in your BX a couple of years back, towing the owner's 2CV back from the NEC. Pulled like a good'un!

It's great. I love it. It'll be getting some new spheres and a service as soon as the weather improves.

I've only used the TGD 3 or 4 times since buying the TZD.
