That's actually not too bad a price, for a 33k mileage Valver!
I would imagine that some "negotiation" could also be possible....so I reckon someone could probably pick up that car for 800-ish, with a full MOT and full History.

Bargain, methinks!

(If things weren't quite so tight, I'd certainly be interested. Always fancied a Valver...and this one fits my requirements;))

Probably sacriligious to say, but a clean unthrashed white GTi would be nice as the basis for my hopelessly ill-advised track car dream. If money was no object of course. Mind you, if it was no object why wouldn't I choose a 16v?

Back O/T: It's a good colour for a GTi IMO and that mileage makes it a tempting proposition. It would make a decent daily driver. Price is high, but not as high as that '87/88 white GTi with 18k for £1500 that was for sale a couple of years back. Wonder what happened to that?

They say 'guaranteed' 33K miles but the history goes back to 1997 when the car was already 5 year old - could have been a round the clock rep mobile in that time!

About 35BHP!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

So, begs the question what's a 33k mile, straight 16v worth? Only £500 difference? IMO I'd say more. 8)

I would say a straight original non cat 16v with the 33k would be worth £1500 ALL day long, if not more. P/C price guide for a condition 1 Valver is exactly that.

That Gti just needs a set of speedlines and it would be lovely.
