Chris Carter Stevens' 14 is about as good as you'll find. The last owner was also a club member IIRC.

(everybody): Wasn't it Owen's old car?

It might be a good idea to take someone from the forum with you to go and see the car before you buy, that way you'll have piece of mind that it's all ok. That is if anyone's close, and willing?

Susan,

I hate to be a pernickety old git, but shouldn't the flexible tube inserted into the urethra, or any other orifice to act as a drain, be a 'catheta'.

Barrie ! whats this got to do with 'rangebyte' trying to get fixed up with a "Decent ^^bx> 14 " for a first car ? (Check out the title of the thread) !

I see your from Shanklin, Isle of Wight, have you had one too many in the 'Crab Inn' (Joke) !

A very nice part of the world, I must take a trip/holiday down there again, (many happy memories from years ago) !

RxBX,

This topic was mentioned a few pages back, I don't get on the site too often, so I tend to read topics from the beginning. This means some of my comments may be a trifle belated.

No, I haven't been into the Crab Inn for a drink, at least not recently; I tend to go to the Fisherman's Cottage at the foot of the Chine. If you ever think of coming to the Island again P.M. me, and we could meet-up for a pint, or two.

to be honest after 9 pages of looking for a car it was bound to go a bit off topic ,

Back on topic

Chris your car is lovely ,
that green is really nice , probably the best colour for a BX,especially with that interior, all I think that needs is alloys and possibly the later 16 valve rear spoiler ( like the hurricane one people have said about ) if it would fit.

Now I know thats only the opinions of a girl but as rangebyte is a young man I should thinkl he would want to impress the girls

Since when does a thread rigidly have to stay on topic?

This thread has drifted into a couple of other topics over it's course...
this might be a signature

So long as it ends up with Rangebyte getting a BX14 it's done it's job and been entertaining en route :D

I reckon you won't do better than Chris' 14 at the mo.
