Someone's Put the wrong title against the description by the looks of things.
Description: 2006, Drivers airbag, Side airbags, Cruise control, Service indicator, Trip computer, Height adjustable drivers seat etc; does not apply to the BX.
Does anyone actually know why this "computer" was such a short lived fitment to the BX?
Presumably it was introduced to combat the F o r d fitment to all their higher models when Citroen were trying to make inroads into the company car market with the BX?
I guess it didn't work properly or just not very well in comparison to the competition?
My 19gt had a trip computer in 1985, but the fuel flow sensors were very unreliable. After several replacements under guarantee, I gave up, presumably Citroen did too!

Indeed, the 1986MY had a clock instead of the "calculator".
the flow meter is optical and so about as much use as throwing a cokkie out of the window every 10 seconds, then turning round and picking them all back up. IE useless.
