I used to have an Alfa which had these on - I thought they looked completely naff, but were surprisingly useful. Especially when parked up in the rain, as you could get a bit of ventilation without getting wet...which is quite relevant where I live!

You can still buy the wind deflectors new from Germany I think. Todd, are you aware of this?

Oh, and never quite saw the point of the handle protectors. Look a bit clunky IMHO. Scratches caused by nails come out with T-cut. :)

Bit of a rarity and nice 'period' accessory, would be interested if I still had a BX!

I didn't know they were available new. All three of my BXs have them fitted - the TRD front and rear! I'm sure some people won't like the look of them on a 16v though.
Remy removes them whenever he sees them in the French scrappers and he's supplied me with some.
I've also got the door handle protectors but my hands aren't quite in that state as those above - real gardeners hands eh? :D

They went for 48 quid in the end! I had a pair of these for the fronts of my old mk1 RD ....they look almost identical.....trouble is they didn't just 'fit by tucking into the window groove' or whatever....they were secured by a sprung clip which pressed against the channel and allowed the window to ride up and down; like a flat bottomed U upside down.
Couldn't see any mention of them!

You can buy a NEW Climair set for £48 delivered. OK you don't get the little ones that go over the top of the rear windows but they're useless anyway!

Just had a look on ebay; two fronts for £35 delivered. The sellers in Germany, so no chance of picking them up as without the postage they're only £22!

Linky?

And what about:
http://www.eurocardesign.co.uk/search_r ... n&act=mode

Trouble is it doesn't say if that's the cost of a pair.

And the website sucketh in that you don't seem to be able to actually buy the things on it.

Berlimey. A spare engine too? Can't think the old gal will need that for a while! Big money for the accessories but at least they are going to good use! Bet the seller's chuffed too: Win-win.
