BX obs MAY09
You probably have Phil, taking into account you live in Chlemsford !
Up in Cochester, I haven't seen many of the local BXs recently. There are certainly several around, because they've featured on my past BX obs.
Maybe just to prove that the BX is getting rarer and rarer ?

I regularly drive all over the country and cant remember the last time I saw one!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
I think I have seen about 4 BXs actually "on the road" throughout the past 2 years!
Although there seem to be quite a number spotted around Preston, just 10 miles down the road in Blackburn it is easier to find a pile of rocking-horse poo in the road!!!
(That doesn't include the approaches to any BX "meets" of course!)

Very true Phil!
IIRC, last year at the National we were down to around 25-30 BXs, and it may well be many less this time around.
I remember someone (JonW?) used to be able to post a reasonably updated list of BX numbers still registered with the DVLA. I wonder if it is still possible to find some more recent statistics?
Would be cool to see a breakdown, by model, of all the BXs left on the DVLA computer.
