One thing that made a surprisingly massive difference on mine was spraying the arch spats body coloured as with the higher spec models... Might be worth considering.

Don't be tempted to overcook it Tim.

Are those side strips I sent any good to you? Must say they are quite 'chunky' - if a little bent lol

Havent had chance to get them on yet Phil what with moving house etc, Asides the front fogs and maybe a splitter thats it for me. Still after a zenith interior but I think that may prove ellusive!

Thinking about it you should take the sunroof wind deflector off, it looks quite warped to me. I think the car would look better without it.

I agree - I tried to take mine off the 16v, but it has scratched all the paint underneath

I'm not a fan of them, even though they are quite effective...

Taken at informal meeting with Ken, Rxbx (richard) and myself in derby for some parts swappage and a general chin wag about all things chevron, she now sports slightly wider Xantia rims (same as Gti) with 185 tyres and a set of front fogs, about 2 hours before had a oil change and the front height corrector reset and rides spot on now, still amazed how fast for a 16 she is, shame the idle is still lumpy.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

New front spheres have cured the rather patchy ride but its still not in the same league as the GT, the blue and grey striped interior from a 19TRS has replaced the clean but rather naff "knitted by nannas" tweed type too although a set of rear headrests are still on the wanted list.

Theres still something not quite right though at the front as it seems to make too much noise so a set of track rods and ball joints are next on the list when funds allow plus a replacemnet carb as its still a pig to start when warm (anyone got a trusted one?) and doesnt run properly until its warm.

Tidy, but the overriders look out of place IMO.

I've been in France for seven hours and seen two BXs. One had over-riders like that!
