1993 CITROEN BX 19 TXD GREEN Spotted on 'E' Bay For Sale

Spotted on 'E' bay, look's like there's no MOT or Tax though !
Advert states "I expect it to go for a low price hence it's sold as seen" also states
"Very well loved Citroen BX. Would be suitable for spares, repairs restoration project, demolition darby or your personal destructive entertainment"

£1! bargain, lets hope noone uses it for the demolition darby as it looks quite sound.

The bits that need doing are mostly easy, leaky hydraulics under the rad could be just a simple case of tightening up on the fdv? Might make some one a good motor for peanuts....

is that v easte dark green one it says it 1990 but l reg and it say it a 1.7 td but just a 1.9 diesle u can se a video on it as well

1993 is L reg. They probably made a mistake with the listing ...

Where does it say it's a turbo?

You have a look on the discription it say 1990 but its L reg 93 or 94 is L and when you look at the engine on the boot it say the 1.7 turbo diesle virson but it says 1.9 diesle as well on the discription

if im wrong then im sorry but that what i think

The description in the item specifics also says that the engine size is 1995 cc which is completely wrong.

eBay listings aren't known for their accuracy.

soz i was wrong about the engine size but the reg does not make sance L is normaly 93 to 94 G reg is 1990 or E

Given that the seller can't get the engine size correct in the item specifics, I'm entirely unsurprised that the date of registration is incorrect too.

Also, a 1990 registration would be a late G or an early H. E is late 1987 and early 1988. None of which is relevant to this car, as it's clearly a late 1993 or early 1994 car.

...it says 19 TXD on the boot.

Normally aspirated it may be but it's the best colour for an estate

It says it's in East Renfrew, the border of which is shitting distance from me. However, it's a large area.

I'm more interested to know where around here has freakin Palm Trees! It's probably Newton Mearns..

Anyway, I'd be happy to check this thing out for anyone on here - can verify how bad the exhaust leak is, try to establish exactly what part of the hydraulics is leaking and check for any surprise corrosion.

Just let me know.
