I was looking at these on a complete BX front subframe that someone was selling at Stratford at the weekend. I was tempted to ask if he'd consider separating them, to keep as "just-in-case" spares.

You wouldn't need them Daivd.
If you get a pipe fail I'll just make up some kunifer ones and trundle down with them.

A very kind offer, Doc. As you probably guessed I didn't get as far as proposing that question, as adding to the "just in case" pile on that front is madness for me at present, and would add further ventilation to my already well-perforated head.
