I am as confident as i dare be that this is going to prove a very good investment.
I would suggest that you could count the number of BX Gti 8v and 16v that are black with black leather on the fingers of one of your hands. I have actually had a look through my past pictures of the C.C.C. National rally (when the 25 years of the BX was being celebrated) and with about 62 BXs, I could only see 1 BX Gti in black, with black leather – and this was a 16v. Please don’t wait for another to come along as this could be a while yet!

I cant recall ever seeing another black valver with leather at any CCC event in the last few years, so I guess he must be referring to my shed.

Suspect that'll sell at the price, they seem to be going up well in value of late..

In all seriousness, whilst i dont condone that type of behaviour on this forum, no one else was interested so we should be blaming ourselves rather than an opportunist for getting the goods. I'd be the 1st to own up that i was unable to help the chap & wasnt motivated unfortunately either, so thats why i cant personally criticise him, just my thoughts imho.

Some CXs had leather as standard probably, but when you work out the cost of leather on a BX when new it was a hell of a lot of money back then.

Theres an identical car at Wolsey House motors.
