Not only did this guy sell me a brand new Ducellier distributor (complete with non-knackered vacuum capsule) for ridiculously few beer tokens, but he also took the time to ensure it fitted in place of the existing leaking Bosch unit - and he took the trouble to talk me through it via PM and email. This new dizzie has transformed my Athena from a sluggish dog into a nicely nippy motor - AND it now starts first flick of the key. Result!!

Top bloke! Thanks Malcolm - your help was appreciated, and the car now accelerates like everyone said it ought to! ImageImage

ok Bob so did you fit the complete new DIZZY, as i did not think looking at the service citroen diagrams that the vacuum advance capsule from the Ducellier unit would fit onto the Bosh,

anyhow nice to hear your sorted,

Fitted the whole thing Malcolm - and, as you predicted, the ignition module simply unplugged from the Bosch and plugged straight into the Ducellier - even the leads fitted. 5 minutes with the strobe and she was a runner.

It's little bits of knowledge like this that make this site to priceless. That and the superb members. :)
