Someone get this bought. They are great BXs and becoming rarer by the day it seems. And this is a good example (Jetronic = go faster than Motronic too 8) IME)

Probably difficult to compare side by side but over the GT1's I've had Motronic is much better with greater overtaking performance. The motronic's lack of distributor and upgrade away from the AFM flappy thing has got to be a distinct advantage too I would have thought?

On paper you might be right, but in my experience (those that drove my old white 'F'-reg 'RLO' might agree) these earlier GTi's fly. The difference might be in perception not raw performance though. Hard to tell.

Nice car that, a good polish some speedlines and remove that rather odd GB sticker (which ma be hiding summat) and you have a nice car!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
