That's interesting. Does that apply to Hi Fi equipment too?

I've had excellent results with my Hi-Fi, but its like everything though, depends how bad your mains supply is & how good your stereo is. If you cant hear any difference, then either your deaf or they dont actually make any difference.

Best bet is to purchase a couple of the cheaper powercords from Russ andrews as although the more expensive ones are better, there is the law of diminishing returns & i found the cheap one's initially to make such a difference as being a total sceptic i didnt want to spend that much money.

You can return them if you think they are rubbish, so all you've lost out is postage costs. I even fitted one to my pc & the machine booted up a bit quicker & everything was much quieter, the fan & hard disk that is, so it must have been cleaning the mains up.

What i also noticed, is that when you put them in your system, you may not notice that much of a difference, they do need to burn in like all cables (dont ask me why). Once burned in (they tell you how many hours on the instructions). If you then play some familiar music, if it sounds from memory that it sounds better but you arent sure, easiest way is to remove them & then play the exact same piece of music at the same volume, & it'll sound quite rubbish, pop them back on & then you should hear how much clearer & defined the music sounds.

I could go on & on about how good i think they are, but your ears are the best judge of that, if you lived a bit more local you could borrow some, but i'm up nawf & your'd dawn sauf.

Anyway's, let me know how you get on, try them on everything that you can think of, telly, vcr, dvd & your stereo. If you've got poxy captive mains leads, you can also purchase the kettle plug adaptor & you can cut off the captive mains lead & fit that to allow the mains cable to be fitted. I've done this on a few items such as my cd player, telly, tape deck etc...But i'd only do that if you can either see or hear a difference on the non-captive bits 1st, otherwise you wont be able to send them back as you wouldnt have a mains cable to power your item(s).

I hope the above makes sense?

They also seem to have a bit of an accumalative effect, so by adding more it seems to enhance the affects on all of the equipment, you can even buy a mains block made from the same cable, which when added to the individual power cables also helps.

Oh dear. I think I have to ask...

Does anyone here fancy doing another 'BXagonesque' adventure on the Continent?

Actually I'd suggest it was a Club jolly and leave aside charity side for this:

I fancy revisiting Loheac ( http://www.manoir-automobile.fr/welcome/index.php ). We spent a fair amount of time there, but there's so much to see. Not only that, the area intrigued me too. What's more I liked Dinan too, which could be included in the trip.

Don't know when... probably 2011, but I thought I'd gauge response. I think it would be a six day excursion - could consider 5 or 7 day too...
