That's Medway Citroen's 'ex-fleet' BX. Was for sale before Xmas I think, but obviously didn't sell.

Nice as the BX undoubtedly is, it could be that the price was a factor. Personally, if it was an estate, I would be tempted though!

Can't really tell from the piccy how nice it really is, but if the mechanicals have been done & everything else is ship shape, i'd buy it at that sort of price. Good one's are very rare, i'm sure they would take an offer if you were close to the asking price. Rare in Black also, no one fancy this?

I was just thinking the amount of nice BXs on ebay have started to dwindle, so at £800 I guess its quite a fair price.

I phoned up about it. He said he would go as low as 600 pound. ut it has no tax. Hes also got another tzd in white. But its done 200.600 miles
The black one has done. 150.000 miles
Im tempted to have a look at it. I know its not a easte. But Its a TZD tHe one i want the most.

What do you think about it. Is it worth Treviling from Lincoln To chatham. To have a look.

I'd say £600 was a reasonable price for a sorted TZD Turbo. I travelled from Chelmsford to Oswestry to pick up a GTi auto, 'ELF' unseen. Drove back OK. Apart from rattling drive plate!

Before travelling I would get Medway to send a fuller description to you (which you can post on here if you like) and then, basically, go and pick it up if it floats your boat... It's a distance yes, but these beasts are rare now.

He says its in good condition. Plus its a citroen gauarge. So it should be done up top spec. It has abs on it as well. So does the white one. But he said the white one. Had a new engeine rebuild. 4 years ago. Nowing my luck if i went to see it. Then say ill think about it. It would be gone the next weekend.
If i went to pick it up sorted tax inserance. The night before. What are they like to drive. Ive never driven one before. Plus the only size ive been driving is a clio. So ill feel a bit nervus. Driving all that way in a car i dont know very well

Take a mate and take it easy - the bx will drive better on a long trip than a Clio.

Jackson, go for it. I bought my estate unseen on eBay last year. It's was in cornwall and I live in Suffolk. It was a nearly 300 miles home. It's exciting! I also got my old CX on eBay and traveled 200 miles home in it and did the same with my ZX. All three cost between £200 and £250. At least you'll have a chance to do some miles and evaluate it's condition.
