You can always put OE headlights in and 'offload' the light clusters!

I shall have a secret conflab with Sir Ian of Fearnshire. One thing I will promise though is that the splitter things will no longer be available

Save the 4x4! You know its jsut too prtty to get rid of!

I'm all up for breaking BX's apart, but this one is just tooooooooo tidy, and the thoughts of a 1.9TD 4x4 too tempting, and i bet i know some other nutter that would help in the conversion :D

SCRAP IT! It'll make your black one even rarer.

Save the enviroment and the planets resorses. Worth more in bits anyway.

no no... this would be with a 405 mi16 4x4 torsen differential. I have located a rolled 405 mi16 4x4. The shell is scrap, and where it's been on upside-down for rather a while the engine is fairly ruined, but I should think the gearboxes and running gear are unaffected.

Seriously thought guys, were all here to keep the BX on the road not scrap salvagable cars for profit. Whats the point in scapping a car which needs little work to make good? Seems a real same :(

Yes it makes the car rarer, they say that about the SD1, but when there non left and your in a minority it seems pointless.

Peugeot engine would be about the same as the Citroen 16 valve - same torque as BX 1.7TD - 132/133 lb ft - and 160 BHP

2.1 TD is 110 bhp and 173 lb ft torque at 2000 rpm(184 Xantia). Whats interesting is that the 1987 V6 XM has about the same torque at 4600 rpm and the 2.0 CT (turbo petrol) at 2500 rpm.

Biggest problem would be the missing 2500 rpm at the top end!

LISTEN UP EVERYONE!

Cavmad and I have a deal whereby we both want parts off it.

Billy definately wants the wheels and lights BUT, should anybody else want to save this car and they are prepared to make a deal acceptable to both myself and Billy then i'm willing to listen.

OTHERWISE, the car will be broken in 10days!
