Update:
She failed her MOT today, thankfully just on the rear brakes, the OSR feed pipe to the caliper is weeping fluid all over the rear disc so needs replacing and then both rear brakes will need a good clean up as they are rusty with standing so long.
The co2 was justunder 10% which is why it was using so much petrol, a quick tweak with a screwdriver had them down within tolerance and some sealent stuck the headlamp glass back on that fell off on the MOT ramp! I have about 5 spares so will get that changed asap. A small plate was welded into the boot floor after I put my finger through whilst cleaning the boot carpet and the n/s CV boot was repacked with grease and refitted with a new tiewrap for now.
Im hoping to get the brake pipe replaced soon, but thats a job Im not entrusting to work as I understand they can be a bit of a pain.
Overall result is good and the RE should be whining its way around these roads soon!
Christmas Came Early (ok well I bought it for myself)

FINALLY shes MOTed, what with waiting gor the new brake pipe to arive from Citroen then my friendly mechanic managing by accident to break a HP pipe and having to wait for that plus work being so busy its too longer and cost quite a bit more than originally anticipated.
Just waiting for the logbook now, which DVLA state can take up to 4 working weeks!

They didnt charge me for the labour to fit the HP pipe, and I suuplied the pipe itself, the lad who does all my cars is a mate and accidents do happen plus he does lots of extra jobs on the side so im quite happy.Philip Chidlow wrote:Didn't they cover the cost of that accident?Roverman wrote:break a HP pipe and having to wait for that... cost quite a bit more than originally anticipated.

Hmm id rather avoid ebay if possible as theres a distince possibility someone will buy it just as its got 12 months MOT and its cheap.Philip Chidlow wrote:If I were you, I'd pop it onto eBay and use the nice pics you took. A decent description and you'll hopefully entice a prospective new member to the club!
