Hi,

not trying to appear stupid but i probably am but i can click etc while i am in photobucket but how do i get photobucket to appear when i am in the BX forum? Surely i have then to get out of photobucket to open the forum and vice versa. Seems a complete bag of bolts to just post a picture.

Ahhhh, I think I know where you may be going wrong - the [IMG] tags are already present below the Photobucket picture so you may be putting them in twice! Try following Way2Go's advice and if it doesn't work in the preview, just post it anyway.
EDIT - in reply to your most recent post, if you are using Internet Explorer, you can open IE again, and have once instance of it running the BX forum, the other with Photobucket. Later versions of IE have the facility to open several web pages at once, but I would guess you have an earlier version and will have to open IE twice.

You have to have BOTH Photobucket and BXC Forum open simultaneously in tabs or separate windows.

Steps 1 to 3 you do whilst in the Photobucket Window or tab

Steps 4 and 5 you do when in the BXC forum and you have already activated a "post" within it.

Note: You will NOT SEE the photo, just the code, until you have posted or click the preview option before posting.

Just follow steps 1 - 5 then click post and you will be able to see your photo.

Your image is as above and therefore looks as if

1) You didn't follow the steps given as the img tags weren't right but I corrected them.

2) You have moved the position of the image or deleted it after copying the img code.

Did you change the name of the picture at all after you copied the image code? The name of your picture as posted is "picture345.jpg".

If you follow steps 1 -5 then there is less chance of error than your attempts to copy this manually.
