Does anyone know the correct size for BX metric tyres please?

For what Tim - the alloys?

The spec on the steel wheels was170/65 R 365TRX, not sure about the alloys but will look at my alloys later cos they're still wearing tyres!

Theres never one around when you want one :wink: , i know the size of the wheels but not the tyres!

Tim, my wheels are fitted with 180/65 R 365's. Couldn't tell you whether that was original fitment size or not. The early brochures I have don't mention anything about size of tyre fitted so I guess they would have been fitted with 170/65 R 365's same as the steel wheels.

Are you seriously going to try and get some tyres? Good luck!!

Lol they arent for me, a mate of mine has 4 NEW metric alloys

The price you pay for authenticity. There are some mk1 alloys on e-bay at the mo, i seriously thought about it for a 2nd, & the realised they would be poxy metric tyres at stupid prices, so no ta :lol:

Theres two on ebay for £63 the pair, mind you the wheels I was biddng on for them fetched £77!

Dunno mate, mind you they are rare but they have limited appeal and the tyre costs are inhibitive.
