We have a Visa decouvrable as well, apparently it was one of 6 known to the CCC when I drove it back from the UK last year, ours is silver and 1100cc, quite happy at 70 mph on the motorway even with only a 4 speed box. It came in at just below our budget of £500 - we haven't paid more than that for a car this century, and flew through the CT. It was produced by the coachbuilders Heuliez in the Charente (also responsible for a spectacularly ugly version of the H van), and there were apparently 5000 made.
Don't think we'll bother with this one though as it would be impossible to make legal here, changes to the type of fuel are definitely frowned on by the authorities.
BTW Richard - hows the pattern for the hood cover coming along?

Forgot to add that it rattles and shakes a lot less than a friends Rover 214 convertible, which is in excellent condition but shakes, squeaks and rattles all over the place - and its only got 2 doors!

The 200 Cabriolet although quite a pretty car has terrible scuttle shake and handles like a blancmange, best avoided really, we always tried to avoid testdrives when I worked for the Rover dealer!
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Well, I have managed to get it out of the car - it's a bit more complex than I had thought.... Work manic, home manic, never here - we'll get to it in the next few weeks!
I NEED a BX TD.
