Wouldnt take much to get it up to scratch, only a few numbers off my old BX Gti auto, sunroof deflector and alloys, so someone loved it once, looks like the exhaust hangers busted.

Anyone fancy it, years Mot for £325!

Lester Translation Service.
There's also a BX Athena (in silver) in Classic Car Weekly and it's £300 with four months MOT left but no Tax. The magazine is still in the shops (it has the Jensen Interceptor on the front cover.

Also, in the magazine from two weeks ago, there's two BXs for sale in it. A 150,000 miles BX Diesel (in silver) at £500 but the seller doesn't state anything about MOT. Location wise it's near Glasgow.

As well as that one, there's a 200,000 mile 1993 BX TZD with a long MOT in South Yorkshire. It's been in the magazine before, though.

Typical! If only I could have waited before I bought my BX! I should have bought that black BX as it was only £325 with an MOT and Tax. I would have even paid £350 for it! :) But I still left it :( , but the moral is to learn by your mistakes I suppose :(

Haha - I give Paul one thing, he doesn't rise to the bait on here - so even if his English is diabolical (and it is!) he may well be a pleasant enough chap in person.

From the way you structure your sentences I'd guess you learnt to read by looking at car adverts?

I would consider smoking around in your current bx Paul, and in the meantime start saving towards another one in better nick. At least you have experience now, and know to be more patient next time.

I have to admit I look forward to what you're going to post next :D

Hmmh, Jacksun's English is indeed bad but you also have included a bad sentence too (red)!

I liked the translation service as a novelty but it also needs accuracy in it's interpretation I believe.

ie: My take on it would be:

"If I'd waited to buy that Black one, I'd have saved myself £350 on what I laid out for my own BX purchase. I'll have to chalk that up to experience, I guess!" :)

My keyboards. A bit dogy somtimes.

At the time when i was loloking for one. There was nothing about. I wanted a TZD 1.7 TD. ouldnt deside. Between a Easte or hatchback.
That was the only one going. I thought to my self. I better get it. Just incase i couldnt find another one. As we know they are getting reare.
This is the most bxs. Ive seen. All up for sale. At one time. I think they might be a dry patch. Then againe. All come at once. But each year moves on. Another BX doesnt make its mot. And then it goes to the scrap yard.
When i didnt have a lieance. There was a bx for sale TZD 1.7TD Dark blue in my villege. But i couldnt get it at the time. Think it was 300 or 400 pound. Going a couple of years back now. About 4 or 5. Somthing like that. Took me ageses. To pass my test. Then i didnt see many after that

I was just translating it in the way which I thought he was trying to say in the first place. There's going to be another translation on the way....

Lester translation service:

Unfortunately my keyboard is sometimes quite dodgy and messes me about.

It was typical wasn't it! When I was looking for my ideal BX (a 1.7 TZD TD) there was just nothing about for sale....and now, when I have my BX, there are loads of suitable cars for sale - the most that I have ever seen actually. Whilst waiting for one to come up I just couldn't decide between an estate or a hatchback.

The BX I have now was the only one that was on the market so I thought to myself, in case I couldn't find another one, i'd better buy it. After all, BXs aren't exactly common place nowadays!

Before I got my driving license, there was a BX (TZD 1.7 TD) in dark blue for sale in my village! Unfortuately I couldn't buy it at the time and it was only around the £300 or £400 mark! Admittedly that was about 4 or 5 years ago - it took ages to pass my test and by that time it had gone

If we are all in full on pedant mode then there is a misplaced apostrophe above; unless you are trying to abbreviate 'it is'...
