Leader Break 1986, 57,000kms! In very good condition. Worth the €€€s?
Where has this been for the last 24 years?

Base model 1984 BX 52,000kms but quite a price!

It always amazes me how many BXs are for sale on that site - 100s! I don't think the parts will dry up just yet.

P.S that's the first BX Break I've ever seen without roof bars - must be one of the first. Both these BXs are in the Calais area - closer to the U of K than me!

E 3500 !!!

I expect that was what it cost new, back in 1984.

I know old cars hold more value in France than UK, but that is crazy.

I wish I had asked that French chap who wanted to buy my BX near Colmar what he thaught it was worth.

Yes but look at the condition it appears to be in, it looks as thought it is new. You would have to spend a lot more then that to restore one to that condition.

And a Leader Break - that's one of 500 examples built. Wonder how many of those 500 remain 24 years later - and in that condition?

The 14 is stunning though :D

Just a had a quick look through some of the BXs for sale there - I'm amazed at the number of Mk 1s still available.

I absolutely love the colour of this one - my new favourite BX colour

Not sure it's comedic but there's no way this is a 1987 car. Agree. Nice colour.

He's giving that one away ! Although the cylinder head joint is shot, and I would expect a few nasty surprises, it looks very tasty (no photos of the passenger side of the car though).

"Année-modèle" is not the calendar year the car was registered in France (at least not before 2000). The "année modèle" year ran from 1st July to 30th June. However, I think he is probably cheating a bit, as phase 2s were introduced in July 86.

I love that colour too !

French chaps usually have a radically different idea of what things are worth when they are buying them rather than selling them.
