Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if there's any difference between the headlamps for mark 1 and mark 2 ?
Cheers,
Brian.

The reason for the question was I'm still looking for a pair of RHD headlamps and wondered if the MK1s would fit. I did find a pair on Leboncoin.fr and I did email them about it but my French is so rusty I could just as easily have offered to make someone pregnant so my question "how much" could have been misunderstood.
I was in France on holiday in the 1960s with my parents and I had wandered off on my own and got a bit lost. I knew the hotel was near the station so I asked this old boy the way to the station and he just fell about laughing.
I thought it must have been my accent but then I realised I had mispronounced 'gare' and it had come out as 'guere' - I had asked him "which way to the WAR"

Thats a afir comment even an English speaking country you can misunderstand people! Then again that describes the accents in the UK
Recent incident that sticks out for me is doing some surveying work here in the Land of the Long White Cloud. My mate said to me to watch out for the Pigs...well thats what I thought he said. Anyways every time we do a job now and he says Pigs I can not but have a wry smile. Looking for those 4 legged animals when he was refering to Pegs.
Totally off topic but hey thought I would share.

Just a thought before you work out how to pay thro' Western Union and go thro' with the purchase !
If your after a pair of headlamps for a RHD car surely the ones from any .FR selling site will only be suitable for LHD cars (Unless there actually advertised specifically suitable for a RHD vehicle only), if you need a good pair hopefully may have a pair available if I look thro' my stock of used ones if you PM me, I should be at Wetherby meeting this Saturday the 15th so as to save on postage if your going ?
