So then, we have TD (Tres Diesel), and TE (Tres Economique). Well, guess you cant get more to the point than that, lol.

I would describe those XUD engines as very diesel. In the best way.

The vans were once fairly common here in France, as were van versions of Ami 6 and 8, GS and CX. They're known here as Break Service, or just Service - because they're registered as 2-seater commercials the original purchase tax was cheaper and the Vignette (equivalent of road tax) was cheaper too. Now the Vignette is no more they're not such an attractive (

) proposition.

Hi Kev - do you work the Massey Ferguson? I've been wanting one of them for a while now, but I've got to get the land first I suppose

Most of them don't actually work, naturally...

The Charleston's in bits, the Beetle was resprayed in 1985 and has never been put back together, the H van Horsebox is a garden shed, etc... But I've got plenty of space here, so you know how it is...!

Yes, it works for its living! Mostly with a topper/grasscutter on keeping the back field manageable, but also use it with a back box to cart building materials/firewood etc. I've jsut finally managed to get the hydraulics working properly (by the simple expedient of buying another one for spares and swapping the parts over). It's a French built tractor, mechanically the same a square-bodied MF130, but with bodywork more like an MF35 and a four-cylinder Perkins.
I'd say get one, worry about the land afterwards!
In fact, If you fancy a project, my spares one is actually perfectly fixable – engine block is cracked but I've got a spare engine block, gaskets, pretty much everything to fix it except spare time...

Well, thanks for the offer, but I don't think I'd get away with parking it on our street. I would like to do it just to annoy the neighbours, but it'd be illegal. I'm sure they look on my BX as being little short of a tractor anyway.
